How is your deodorant roll-on different from what I already stock?
First and foremost, the refill ability sets it apart significantly. This approach drastically reduces the consumption of polluting materials each year.
By adopting Venuzi, you save between 8-12 traditional deodorant applicators annually from ending up in landfill helping to reduce the 30+ million applicators that end up in Australian landfill.
Additionally, the patented unique mechanism allows you to use 100% of the deodorant refill.
Finally, Venuzi’s No. 247 Natural Deodorant builds on nearly a decade of experience in the Australian-made, natural deodorant space. A 100% zero waste product, contains no aluminum, no parabens, no phthalates, no bi-carb, no palm oil, no “fragrance” and is strictly vegan. With a magnesium and zinc active base for odor control, providing you with 12 hours of reliable coverage against body odor.

Where is the deodorant applicator made?
In Canada, Venuzi’s aim is to be producing the KIIMA applicators locally in Australia by 2026.
Is your deodornat applicator recyclable?
Yes! 100% recyclable and made of Mono material making it very easy to recycle. At Venuzi, we offer a program with TerraCycle at the end of your applicators 5-year lifespan to ensure that it is recycled properly.
Is your applicator made from bioplastic?
The applicator is made from a single material (Mono material), making recycling easier. It is made of food-grade polypropylene to protect your health. It's the most environmentally friendly option to date.
Our partner, KIIMA, explored different material ideas for the applicator. They excluded aluminum due to its highly polluting extraction process and ruled out bioplastic due to the lack of suitable recycling
facilities, creating additional waste. They are continuing to explore bioplastics and when they feel that the industry and recycling processes will lead to a fully sustainable product they will make the switch.
Are the packaging for the applicator and refills recyclable, compostable, and/or biodegradable?
Yes! Our packaging is 100% recyclable, just like your applicator.
All papers wrapping our deodorant refills are compostable or recyclable. Furthermore, the No. 247 natural deodorant packaging is upcyclable into a seed starter and will biodegrade in your garden.

Do your deodorants work?
Absolutely! Venuzi’s deodorants are carefully formulated, lab tested and extensively tested with real people via our tester program. These refills are designed to be effective, gentle on the skin, and uncompromising on quality.

Are your deodorants safe for young adults?
Yes! Natural deodorants are actually safer for your teens, than mainstream chemical-based deodorants and antiperspirants. The product has been extensively tested through parents and their young adults in our tester program and the feedback is amazing.

How do we look after our future adults?

Are your refills deodorants or antiperspirants?
The refills are deodorants, not antiperspirants. At Venuzi we strongly believe that sweating is a natural and healthy body process. How long does a deodorant refill last if I use deodorant every day?
Each person has their own personal deodorant usage, which varies from person to person, making it difficult to give an exact number of days. However, through our extensive tester program we’ve found that, on average, a deodorant refill will last 2 months.
Does the deodorant have an expiration date?
Yes. Because we do not use chemical preservatives, there is a natural shelf life of our deodorant refills of two years depending on use by. Beyond this period, your deodorant may lose effectiveness and olfactory intensity.
Do your deodorants leave white marks on shirts?
Our deodorants undergo rigorous testing by our team and our testers in our tester program. When not over-applying the deodorant, no white marks are left on clothing after application, ensuring a stain-free experience.
Are your deodorants cruelty-free?
Our deodorants will always be natural, vegan, cruelty-free, and respectful of your skin's health.
Do your refills suit everyone? Do your deodorants irritate the skin?
Several factors must be considered, so it's essential to read the ingredients of each refill carefully. The base recipe is the same, however the essential oils used vary from scent to scent. If you have allergies, it's crucial to read the full ingredient list before making your choice. Our ingredients are listed in both INCI and plain English giving you full transparency of what we put in, and what we don’t!
If you’re not sure, the final step is always to perform a skin test on a small area, such as the forearm, before using the product in larger quantities daily. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Do your deodorants contain aluminum salts?
No! None of our Deodorants contain aluminum salts.
Do your refill deodorant contain baking soda or bicarb?
No! Venuzi’s No. 247 uses magnesium and zinc as the active ingredients for odor control. These ingredients are safe, especially for those with sensitive skin.
